Course Description

Our Islamic Studies Course (Grade 1–12) is a complete, structured, and engaging learning program designed according to authentic Islamic Studies books taught in schools and madaris. This course provides students with a clear, gradual, and in-depth understanding of Islam, starting from basic Islamic concepts for young learners and progressing to advanced Islamic knowledge for senior students.

The course begins with the foundations of Tawheed (Oneness of Allah), helping students understand who Allah is, His attributes such as Creator, Sustainer, All-Knowing, and Most Merciful, and why belief in Allah forms the core of Islamic faith. As students move forward, they gradually learn about beliefs, worship, morals, and Islamic lifestyle in a structured and age-appropriate manner.

As learners advance through different grades, the course covers Qur’anic studies, Seerah of Prophet Muhammad ﷺ, Islamic history, Fiqh, Hadith sciences, and contemporary Islamic topics. Each level builds upon previous knowledge, ensuring strong understanding and long-term retention.

By following a grade-wise learning approach, students develop strong faith, correct beliefs, and the ability to apply Islamic teachings in real life, both at home and in society. This course helps children and teenagers grow into confident Muslims with sound Islamic knowledge and character.

What Is the Islamic Studies Course?

The Islamic Studies Course is a comprehensive educational journey based on authentic Islamic textbooks taught from Grade 1 to Grade 12. It is designed to help students understand Islam not only as a religion but as a complete way of life that guides beliefs, actions, manners, and social responsibilities.

In the lower grades, students learn simple and essential topics such as:

  • Basic Islamic beliefs

  • Short Surahs and daily duas

  • Good manners and Islamic etiquette

  • Stories of Prophets and moral lessons

In the middle grades, students study:

  • Acts of worship such as Salah, fasting, and Zakah

  • Cleanliness, Tahaarah, and personal hygiene

  • Seerah of Prophet Muhammad ﷺ

  • Islamic morals and character building

In the higher grades, the course expands to advanced topics including:

  • Detailed Aqeedah

  • Qur’an sciences and Tafseer basics

  • Hadith and Sunnah

  • Islamic law (Fiqh)

  • Islamic history and contemporary issues

The aim of this Islamic Studies Course is to produce students who are strong in faith, knowledgeable in Islam, and confident in practicing Islamic teachings in modern society.

Course Content

This Islamic Studies Course (Grade 1–12) covers all major areas of Islamic knowledge taught in standard Islamic books.

Islamic Beliefs (Aqeedah & Eemaan)

Students learn Tawheed, belief in Allah, Angels, Divine Books, Messengers, the Last Day, and Divine Decree. Concepts such as accountability, reward and punishment, sincerity, and reliance on Allah are explained step by step.

Acts of Worship (Ibaadah)

The course explains the Five Pillars of Islam, including Shahadah, Salah, Zakah, fasting in Ramadan, and Hajj. Students also learn about Tahaarah, Wudhu, cleanliness, and Islamic hygiene with practical understanding.

Qur’an Studies

Students study selected Surahs and verses with meaning, themes of the Qur’an, its preservation, structure, Makkan and Madinan Surahs, and basic Tafseer to understand Qur’anic guidance.

Seerah of Prophet Muhammad ﷺ

The complete life of Prophet Muhammad ﷺ is covered, from birth to the final message, including Makkan and Madinan periods, Hijrah, leadership, character, and lessons for daily life.

Prophets, Companions & Islamic History

Students learn about major Prophets, the Rightly Guided Caliphs, Sahabah, female role models, and key events in Islamic history.

Hadith & Sunnah

Senior grades study the importance of Sunnah, preservation of Hadith, major Hadith collections, and basic Hadith principles.

Islamic Manners, Ethics & Society

Students learn Islamic manners, respect for parents and society, honesty, justice, modesty, and Islamic guidance for family life and modern challenges.

Grade-Wise Learning Structure

  • Grade 1–3: Basic beliefs, duas, manners, short stories

  • Grade 4–6: Worship, Seerah, morals, cleanliness

  • Grade 7–9: Aqeedah, Qur’an studies, history, Fiqh basics

  • Grade 10–12: Advanced Qur’an, Hadith, Islamic law, ethics
